IMMERSION COURSES

In order to speed up language acquisition, students may engage in an intensive program that consists of at least four hours a day and a maximum of eight hours a day. The program includes in-classroom and out-classroom activities with social gatherings and studies on cultural aspects of the countries where the target-language language is spoken.

FLEXICLASS

This is a program that allows total flexibilization of the schedule. Participants may choose the place, the time, the duration of the sessions and the amount of hours a week they want. The advantage is that the schedule may be changed anytime at the student´s convenience.

BUSINESS ENGLISH

Classses include role play of business situations such as meetings, presentations and debates about current events.

• Hints on how to write concisely and objectively.
• Presentation with PowerPoint, followed by discussions and practical exercises.

Business reports

• Hints as above, from drafting to the final product.

Participants have a double benefit with the workshops above: they learn techniques and strategies that may be used in any other language. At the same time, they experience full contact with another language for a period of about four hours.

SPECIAL PURPOSES COURSES

Language training for hotel and restaurant staffs

We have contributed to the professional development of hotel and restaurant employees with classes in English, Spanish and French that focus specifically on their daily tasks. They learn how to communicate with customers and therefore are able to provide better services. Our students include staff of the following areas: management, housekeeping, reception, room service, restaurant (maitres, waiters, commis, bar tenders). We train them in their own working place using the tools of each specific area.
